1st Meeting Games

1.Sol -makaron

Sol-makaron is a game that we play with a group of several kids. We stand in a circle and we position one hand on top of the other, and the other one on the bottom and we sing a really easy song:

Sol-makaron, sol fe re don,

marion, marion

Leo, Leo,

tip, tip, tip.

Leo, Leo,

tip, tip, tip.

one, two, three,

Sega mavas ti.

When we say the last lyric, which in Macedonian means ‘Now you slap my hand’, the person that says the last lyric slaps the next person’s hand. The person whose hand is about to be slapped can take the hand away and the ‘slapper’ is out. But if the person’s hand is slapped, than he is out and the ‘slapper’ stays in the game.

2.Elastic

Elastic is a game played in a group of 3-4 people. For this game we need an elastic and 2 pepole hold the elastic on their feet. The other 1-2 players jump over and between the elastic, in some rules counting to ten

  1. First jump is over the elastic.
  2. The second jump is first you jump trying to get the one foot between the elastic and the other one in the outside – that is one count, the second count is when you do the same thing (one foot in the middle and one on the outside but this time it`s reverse if the first tiem was the right in the middle, left in the outside than the second time is the right on the outside and the left on the middle) and than you get at the side of the elastics you started jumping.
  3. The third jump is the same as the second but you jump and count to three.
  4. The fourth is the same as 2-3 but you count to 4.

The fifth is the same as 2-3-4 except you count to five. There are diferent rules for 10 steps, and if the person who jumps makes a mistake someone other starts jumping.

3.Gazenka

This game can be played with as many persons as you want, but if you want it to be more fun than you should play with at least 7 people, more people more fun.

First, those who play they hold hands in a sircle, and they jump on the left or the right (it doesn`t matter) and on every jump they say „GA-GA-GAZEN-KA!“  After they say that, they let go of each other and jump around, and the first one to sais „FIRST“ gets the first turn.

Than the first one jumps trying to step some of the players on their foot, trying to eliminate them. When the person who has the turn jumps all of the players can make 1 jump in the same time as the player on the turn is making the jump. Than when he/she jumps he/she sais someone`s name from the players, and than he/she is on turn. That continues until someone gets stepped on his/her foot. Than the player who got stepped is eliminated.

In the next turn than the players who are left get in a sircle holding hands and again the jump and say „GA-GA-GAZEN-KA!“ and they repeat the same thing and again someone gets eliminated. The players repeat this until ONE (THE WINNERr) is left.
